Merry Christmas to all

Sorry for all the late Christmas well wishes, but if you've read Zelda's site, you'd know that the drama in our lives fully erupted Christmas Eve. As soon as everything happened, I figured I'd be the one to calm everyone's nerves down and take care of the situation myself. I took Zelda's mom to go after her stepdad. You see, it didn't matter what my opinion of their situation was. It didn't matter whether I thought they should stay together or divorce. Zelda's mother had to make up her own mind. She's the one that had to live with the decision she makes. Therefore, all we can do is to support her in her decision. Whether or not we liked her decision, we had to let her make the decision herself. So, after listening to her crying on the phone asking to know where her husband had gone, I picked up the phone and talked to Zelda's stepdad. I said to him that we should all go out, sit down, have a drink, and relax. He said that he needed to drive around for a little bit and would meet up with us after he calmed down.

So, I took Zelda's mom out to a local pub here. I swear, alcohol in moderation can do wonders for nerves. Zelda's mom and I hashed out a lot of what was going on. I reminded her that the situation was still new. Zelda's sisters were thinking with their hearts not with their minds. When Zelda's stepdad showed up, he apologized to me for the scene on my front lawn. We headed back and after everyone left, Zelda and I stayed up to get presents from Santa to our girls out and place them underneath the Christmas tree. Zelda was a little upset about everything, but I assured her that everything was going to be fine. No matter what, we still had each other and the girls. That was all that mattered. I told her to imagine the look on the girls' faces when they would wake up and see their presents and Santa's thank you letter to them in the morning. She smiled. Now, y'all have seen how sexy Zelda's smile is. I got so horny. But, I figured it was probably a bad night to try for it so I didn't.

The next morning, Zelda came into their room to wake them up. She brought in her guitar and started singing Christmas songs to wake them up. It wasn't working. I knew what to do. I walked in and said to them, "Gwennie, Emma guess what? Santa came last night and he left some presents." That worked. They got up and came out to see everyone sitting by the tree taping the expression on their face when they saw all of the presents under the tree. It was a great morning. Merry Christmas everyone!

Oh and by the way, I PASSED the last of my Board exams! Woo Hoo! Now, comes the task of applying for my license.

Graduation Day

Well folks, since you've started reading me, I have been in school studying my ass off to get where I am today. It's really weird now to not have to worry about grades and returning to the real world. Well, now I gotta start writing a resume and sending it out.

I had trouble sleeping all night that night. I woke up at 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 thinking that I was late. The ceremony went off without a problem. I'll get pictures posted as soon as I get them in.

So, I now have a new title in front of my name. I kind of hit me today when I finished the checkout procedures to the school and picked up my diploma.

I bumped into one of my other classmates who was also picking up his diploma. He told me a story about one of the doctors that he went on a rotation with. This doctor was apparently the main doctor in Desert Storm I under the first President Bush. He told me a story where they didn't expect to receive so many soldiers surrendering to our military. They only had enough low grade pain killers like Tylenol and Advil for our forces. So, to treat some of the Iraqi POW's, they started giving them Skittles hoping that a placebo effect would help. When they actually got Ibuprofen and Acetominophen in, the POW's complained how the smaller pills weren't as effective as the colorful ones.

Anyways, I got to get back to the resume. Ciao for now.

Alcohol impairs your intelligence

It's so cold outside! It's 27 degrees ...in Houston! It reminded me of a time when my best bud Mason and I were roommates. It was freezing outside so we sat back, popped "Independence Day" into the VCR and pulled out a bottle of Jack Daniels. Before we started drinking, we do what we always do. We take the bullets out of our guns and put them away. This is just in case anyone else decides to come to our place to have a few drinks with us since we didn't have a gun safe. For those who don't know a lot about guns, the bullet is the most dangerous part. A gun cannot accidently go off if there are no bullets in the chamber because it's the bullet that contains the primer and gun powder. So, the gun itself is really just a big piece of metal, plastic, etc. I have to explain this so that nobody worries while reading what I'm about to tell you.

After polishing off the bottle of Jack Daniels, Mason decided to show me a few tricks with his gun. Bullets out of course. He put on a holster and started twirling the gun and slid it back in the holster like they do in the Western movies. I said to him, "I can do that!" So, I put on my holster, took my gun out (bullets out of course) and started twirling it. I don't know how Mason maintained his coordination because he drank about the same amount that I did. Anyways, the gun fell out of my hand and landed on his foot. Mason gave me a "Holy Shit! That hurt!" look. I asked him, "Did that really hurt?" He answered, "Uhhh, Yeeeaeaaaaahhhh." My stupid ass said, "Let me see." So with all my *cough* wisdom, I picked up my gun and smashed my toe with it. Yeah, it hurt. A lot.

We both then proceeded to crawl out to the front door, open it, and stuck our toes out on the cold concrete to keep the swelling down. Yep, it was just as cold that night.
